You might have seen this before, but it's still worthwhile taking another look. It is a real-time update of our national debt. It is scary, to me anyway.

As you mouse over various entries in the table, keep an eye on the title box at the top for an explanation of the term your mouse is on.
Also note the links to the state and world debt clocks in the upper left of the screen.
