Song of the Day: The Cranberries - No Need To Argue

You're heard the news, no doubt, that Dolores O'Riordan (Cranberries lead singer) unexpectedly passed away recently at the too-young age of 46.  That caused me to dig out a bunch of Cranberries albums I have, and reminisce.  And share with my daughters (who don't fully understand why I'm sad when I hear news like this, and Prince, and Tom Petty, etc.).

I had the pleasure of hearing the Cranberries in concert a LONG time ago, at the Riverside theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Looking it up...

Yep, there it is.  November 18, 1994.  I feel old.  But happy to have heard them at their peak.

You've heard the popular songs (Linger, Zombie).  But this song really conveyed her tenderness, and also the power of her voice.  Brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it.   :(

And a bonus song, as well, also one of my favorites.

Rest in peace, Dolores.
