I guess we're warming the galaxy now

Would you believe that there is a real possibility that the "models" that warmists use are wrong? Shocking news, I know. (Yes, that is totally sarcastic.)

Consider this post on Forbes blog:
"New NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole In Global Warming Alarmism" by James Taylor

The common models may be wrong. That is the conclusion I came to long ago, due to warmists' inability to match their models to actual climate developments. This post discusses a paper that shows a possible reason why, one of the sources of error.

However, I don't expect that this will stop the warmists. From the post:

"'The satellite observations suggest there is much more energy lost to space during and after warming than the climate models show,' Spencer said in a July 26 University of Alabama press release. 'There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts that is especially big over the oceans.'"

"In addition to finding that far less heat is being trapped than alarmist computer models have predicted, the NASA satellite data show the atmosphere begins shedding heat into space long before United Nations computer models predicted."

You know what this means, right?

Yes, you guessed it. We are not merely guilty of global warming. We are to blame for GALACTIC WARMING! Remember, you heard it here first. :)

Postscript, July 31, 2011:

Here is a rebuttal from the warmists, for what it's worth. As I've said before, until they can create models that match the base case (demonstrate that their models match actual climate changes in the past) I don't take them seriously. Nonetheless, here it is, from RealClimate:
