I can't completely relate to this song, the details anyway (not into pills or anything like that) ... but I think we all can relate to the vibe.  At least I can.  Either way, it's a beautiful song in my opinion.  And it brings up a lot of memories, good and bad.

Song of the Day: Emeli Sandé - Somebody

Saving the best for last, in this group of songs that I've recently posted.  Heard this song on the plane, too, and it blew me away.  I listened and listened and listened.

We all want to feel like we're somebody, but this song really expresses it perfectly.

Final silly point: I love the pauses in the studio version of the song.  Such a perfect way to emphasize what she's singing.  I hope they are intentional, and not just a placeholder so she can fill in other words during concerts.

I have several versions of this song, all of them wonderful to listen to, in my opinion.

Song of the Day: Ella Mai - Naked

I didn't even know who Ella Mai was until I was randomly sampling music on an airplane audio system during a trans-Atlantic flight.  Wow, you never know where you'll find great music.

I love the raw emotion of this song.  The pure desire to be accepted fully for who you are.  Naked in every sense.  At least that's how I hear the song.
