Check out this video. It's a very basic description of the difference between gold currency and fiat currency. It advocates gold currency. Certainly, gold is not perfect. But in my opinion it is the best choice of currency we have. Fiat currencies are too easy for governments to manipulate, at the expense of their own people.

The thing that really gives away the true purpose of fiat currency is the fact that governments outlaw any alternative. They insist on a monopoly. They are counterfeiters who can't stand any competition. They literally cannot let their citizens be free. Advocates of gold currency don't attempt to abolish fiat currency, they don't need to. All they request is the freedom to write contacts in any currency they choose.

Check out this video, an interview of Congressman Jim Moran of Virginia. This Congressman is so stupid that he doesn't even understand how he contradicts himself in the span of a minute and a half.

The sad part is, he's not the only one. He just happens to be so stupid that he doesn't even realize that he's admitting it.

I've had this on my list for a while. I'm sure you've seen this if you pay any attention to politics at all. But just in case, here is one businessman's take on why our economy is floundering. Do you ever talk to your cell phone? No, not on your cell phone, but to your cell phone! You can, you know. It will listen to you (and you thought no one listened to you!).
In all seriousness, voice recognition technology has come a LONG way. If you have an Android phone and you don't have the Voice Search app, shame on you. And now the Google Chrome browser will listen to you, too!

Anyway, back to business. This quote asks a great question. What is the purpose of government? Because what the Left believes the purpose is is neither in line with the founding of this country nor is it sustainable.
